One of my favorite pictures from my vacation to San Diego last year in one of my rare(ish) girly-girl moments. Gotta love a good circle skirt and some amazing thrifted booties though! 

Always Simple. Never Basic.

Its always good to have basics. and LOTS of them. They're easy to put together, layer, and can be used from season to season. But just because you use a lot of basics doesn't mean you have to be... well... basic. Keeping it simple and classy are your best defaults. Theres not always a need to spend a lot of money on trendy things that you'll only love for a month or so when you can invest on your best basics that'll work for your whole closet season after another. 

Attn: Inner Tomboy

Sometimes I just can't help but channel my inner tomboy. this simple striped crop top, acid wash hi waist jeans, beanie and moto coat could not be any easier to pair for a casual day. Plus, who doesn't like wearing sneakers? Especially these super clean Nike Airmax QOHs. I. Could not. Resist. Now lets have some beer and watch wrestling. Sorrynotsorry.

Challenge Accepted.

Every girl has a million shoes. and I mean A MILLION.  And lets be real, we definitely don't let ALL of our babies out to shine. My boyfriend recently suggested that I made outfits for every one of my shoes, and I have to admit that at first, I was a bit mad, thinking he was just hinting at the fact that 75% of my shoes don't get used... but he's right... whatever. 

So, CHALLENGE ACCEPTED.

For my next... many... posts, I will be basing my outfits off a different pair of my shoes every time and will keep posted on how close I get to the end...(yikes!) Fingers crossed! 

Cute, Cozy, Casual

My usual, default, go-to style is, and I feel, will always be comfy and casual. But of course, I want to stand out and look good doing it. This outfit is definitely that. These high waist riding pants paired with a slouchy tee and a cozy long knit is super easy to wear all day long.
